Vocational Rehabilitation Services
Amanda Munzer MA, CRC has practiced as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor for over 18 years in the state of Colorado. A graduate of The Counseling and Rehabilitation program at the University of Iowa, Amanda has extensive experience in counseling, evaluating, and placing individuals with a variety of physical and mental health disabilities into employment.
Amanda’s background includes experience working with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, in community mental health settings, and for Colorado’s largest worker’s compensation provider. She has expertise in returning injured workers back to work post injury, assessing for accommodations in the workplace, identifying employment barriers, and assisting individuals in identifying appropriate vocational goals. Amanda is able to provide expert services to include vocational counseling, vocational evaluation and assessment, transferable skills analysis, job placement, labor market research, and earning capacity evaluation. She is excellent at providing expert opinions to courts, attorneys and private referrals, and is a vocational expert witness in disability cases for the Social Security Administration’s Office of Hearing Operations. Amanda is a current member of IARP (International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals) and is an active participant in the Rehabilitation Counseling community. |
